Exa Lite returns ranked web results and available page text from its index. The base source price covers ten results, with a per-result charge above ten. The source-reported cost is recorded for each request. No generated page summaries or additional research calls are requested.
Available results
Titles, destination URLs and available page content as Markdown-compatible text. Missing content is left explicit, and optional realtime Markdown responses can fetch destination pages.

query, maxResults (1–25), strategy, country (where supported), maxCostUsd, cache
Parameter support varies by offering. The API checks capability before routing. Free queries may choose an engine and use shared cached results with automatic routing. Firehose Lite is available to free users; Advanced requires paid access, including cached results. Provider selection and fast/cheap preferences require credits. Free live searches use the daily allowance. Firehose manages its own routing.
